Day Two- University of Wisconsin
Green Bay, Wisconsin – November 29th, 2018
Good morning, Green Bay! This morning started off slow. I woke up around 10 and did some last minute touches to my blogpost and social media. Jesse was still asleep so I decided to leave the room and go to the hotel gym. After about an hour workout, I went back up to the room to shower and get dressed.
Jess had some work to do and still needed to go to the gym, so I decided to have a solo lunch date. I called a Lyft and headed to downtown Green Bay to the Kavarna Coffeehouse. I ate there, but ordered Jesse a salad to go. The coffee was great, the food was… not my favorite.
Back at the hotel I waited for Jess to get ready and did some touch ups to my makeup. My hair was completely helpless. I don’t know how to fight the static and I had more hairspray and water in my hair trying to fight it at this point that I just gave up. Every single door I touch shocks me. Please comment solutions if you have them! Our transportation picked us up and we headed to the University of Wisconsin- Green Bay. I sat on stage while Jesse and Dory did their soundcheck. After that we went to the green room and hung out until it was time for the fan meet and greets. The fans were so excited when Jesse walked in and it stilll always impresses me the level of love and support his fans have for him. Some of them were really shy, others were over the top excited, and one girl even brought Bailey, our dog, toys! I stood off to the side by the door so I wouldn’t be in the way and watched as the girls (and some guys) were coming up with plans as to how they would pass off their purses and coats to each other for their pictures. Jess took his last fan picture and we were back in the green room. Also, peep the event staff t shirts. They were so cute!
The theater doors opened, the opening act performed and then it was showtime. Jess and Dory took the stage and I went out into the audience to do some story posting and live streaming for Jesse’s instagram. It’s more stressful than it sounds. I never know which song to stream! I had some connection trouble with the live and when I finally figured it out it was just in time for “How Do You Sleep” so thats what I streamed. I talked to a few really sweet JMac fans in the audience, that also read my blog so, hi if you’re reading this, and then the moment everyone was waiting for… “Beautiful Soul”. I decided to live stream that as well, that one’s a given. After the show Jesse changed and we went back to the stage, when the audience was gone, to score a few selfies. The theater was so beautiful we had to get some pictures! A student took this one and if my memory is correct his name was Tyler!? Anyways, photo cred- Tyler, maybe.
We packed up the green room, Jess did a few post-show interviews and then we went back to the hotel to drop of our stuff. Now it was time for a glass of wine! Jesse, Dory, and I went to Fox Heights, a bar down the street from the hotel, to meet with some of their colleagues. Jess and I had a glass of red wine, everyone else had beer, and we all had some fun conversation!
It’s midnight now and time to get back to the hotel, because it is definitely time for bed. We have to be awake in 4 hours, FOUR HOURS, to leave for the airport, but I’ll tell you about that tomorrow. Good night, Green Bay.
xoxo,
the Rebel Blonde
It was fun I had a blast hope you guys enjoy all the gifts
Bailey will love them too!
Dryer sheets help with static in the hair. It sounds strange but it works. Rub a dryer sheet on ur hair. Also, a texture spray works well too. Your hair is probably clean and soft so that’s why there is static. Plus it’s cold and dry out lol. I’m a hair stylist. The dryer sheet is the best thou. Someone told me that years ago! Good luck!! Hope that helps!! Xoxox
That makes so much sense. Thanks for the tip!
This is awesome 🙂 love hearing about your time on tour! The person above mentioned dryer sheets and it works very well! The only thing I’ve found to work and I even keep some in person during winter cause that’s when static seems to be the worst.

Yes, every door handle has shocked me. I’m afraid to touch anything, haha! I’ll give the dryer sheets a try.
My purse 🤦🏼♀️ Ya know what I mean lol
You are so beautiful and 10x more beautiful in person. I wanted to say hi but I was so nervous and shy meeting Jesse I think I blacked out and can’t even remember what he said to me, “enjoy the show”? Or maybe “nice meeting you”? Lol it was definitely a great night though
Hi Lillian, I’m glad you had a great night!
I second the dryer sheets, although I used unscented. I am not a fan of my hair smelling like my laundry lol. And also A little bit of lotion works as a quick fix too! Hope this helps! 🙂
Unscented.. smart! I did try a little lotion and it did help.
Most drugstores sell Static Guard. It looks like it’s from the 90s, and it is, but it’s honestly the best. Spray it on your hairbrush, not directly into your hair, and it’ll save your hair (and skirts/dresses).
I use to do that in college. Totally forgot!!!
I love hearing your suse of the tour. Hopefully one day I get to meet you and jesse.
I meant side
I’m glad you both had so much fun! And I hope you had safe travels back 🙂 I am also still trying to find a way to get rid of all this static as well! Thanks again for coming out! Love ya both!
You win the award for girlfriend of the year! 👏
Static guard is great for those uncontrollable static moments! I LOVED that you and Jesse had matching shoes. I wanted to mention it but I’m one of those shy people you talked about haha. I loved reading this because I always wonder what the craziness is like. I really hope you do this with the resolution tour!! Much love from one Katie to another ❤
Hi Katie,
There’s a product called Static Guard that I personally use, you just spray it on your brush and brush your hair or you can spray it in your hair like hairspray, most stores have it, I definitely know Walmart sells it,you can find it on the laundry detergent isle by the clothes stain removers and the starch stuff for starching clothes. I hope that helps. Another tip when using Static Guard makes sure not to use it in small spaces as it tends to make me cough (I have asthma so that’s my problem). I hope this helps you 🙂 Happy and safe travels to you and Jesse!
