Show Seven- The Fillmore
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania- January 19, 2019
Good Morning, Philly! I am so excited for today, because Tim (Jesse’s brother) has flown into Philly to meet us. Jess and I decided for Christmas it would be fun to book Timmy a roundtrip flight to be on tour for a few shows and we’re so pumped that it’s finally today. This is how we presented it to him. Pretty creative if you ask me.. but then again I made it haha.

Anyways, I meet up with Tim, Mia and Jack at their apartment, which is a corner unit with big windows and lots of natural light. We have a beer and catch up for a while until it’s Philly Cheesesteak time! Mia and Jack are taking us to try their favorite Philly Cheesesteak at a place called, Cleavers. On the way there we passed by the Liberty Bell (pictured above) and Independence Hall, which you may recognize from the back of the $100.

Okay, back to the Philly Cheesesteak… it did NOT disappoint. My cheesesteak had a pound of meat on it. I think I gained 10 lbs just looking at it. I ate half the cheesesteak with a cider to wash it down. Look how cool the restaurant logo looks pressed into the bread.

It was a bit of a walk to get there but it was well worth the journey, especially with tourist things to see along the way. The walk also helped to work up an appetite because, that was a big sandwich. It was so delicious I wish I could have another one right now.

After eating our weight in cheesesteaks we hopped in a Lyft and headed to the venue. We got there early because, Mia, Jack and Tim really wanted to see Jesse’s Q&A with the VIPs. So, I took them out to watch from behind the crowd. When that was over we headed back to the dressing room and look what I found!!!!! Katey and Kacey, two of Jesses tour managers had made this for Bailey.

If you can’t tell by now Bailey has been a big hit on the tour, and now she’s very official with her all access pass! We hang backstage until it’s showtime.

We watched from front of house (where the lighting and sound guy are). FOH is where I watch most of the shows from. I also run Jesses social media (live and stories) during the show so sometimes I try to run up front for better shots on certain songs, which I did do for his live feed for this show. Mia helped me. After the show we head back to the green room and say a quick “good job” to Jess and his band before he has to change for meet and greets. I snapped this picture of Jesse, Mia and Tim. How cute are they!?

It’s pouring rain by the way. I get my stuff packed up from the green room and we run to the bus. We all waited on the bus for Jess to finish his meet & greets, which is great because I can show Tim his bunk and where everything is. There are a few rules when you live on a tour bus.. especially about the bathroom! Jess heads back to the bus to hang while the crew finishes loading out. Once they’re done around 1am, it’s time to leave. We say bye to Mia, Jack and their friends and we’re off to New York City, well Secaucus, New Jersey actually, but I’ll explain later!
