EMINENCE- Sun Defense Minerals

Sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen! It is so important to protect ourselves from harmful UV rays that cause sun damage to our skin. Before I leave the house I always apply sunscreen to my face. For me it’s in my foundation, which makes it super convenient. My issue is that during the day, I don’t want to reapply sunscreen over my makeup and I definitely don’t want to add more foundation. So, what do you do?!  Rub creamy sunscreen over a nicely applied face or worse spray that greasy mess onto your skin making you look shiny and oily.. no thanks! Sun Defense Minerals is the answer!! I only discovered it a month ago but, I am obsessed and already telling everyone I know to go buy it. The natural minerals work just like your setting powder for makeup, but provides water resistant SPF 30 sun protection. The pump brush application is so easy to use, you simply pump it, extend the brush, and swipe it on. It keeps your makeup fresh by removing any oily shine you might have from that hot sun while, most importantly, protecting that beautiful skin! It’s the latest addition to my purse essentials. I use- No.0 translucent.

RARE ATLANTIC X A BIKINI A DAY- Woven Bag

On June 19th my mom gave me this woven bag for my birthday and it has barely left my hand!! I wasn’t very subtle when I sent her the link with the bag already in the cart ready to checkout 2 weeks before my birthday, but I wasn’t trying to be. This classic round bag is the perfect summer accessory for any outfit with it’s mix of feminine and bohemian style. I love the simplicity of the weave and the size of the bag. (Tip- I have a small card wallet I put my license, credit card and cash in, so they aren’t floating around with my gloss and cell phone inside.) Pair it with a cute summer dress and head to brunch or wear it with your kini and hit the beach. Either way your bound to get a compliment or 10. Heads up- my bag had a smokey smell when it arrived but it aired out quickly. If you like to throw your bag over your shoulder I’d suggest finding a similar bag with a shoulder strap. The same brand, Rare Atlantic does make bags with shoulder straps. Enjoy swinging your new accessory around all summer!
